Besides the
Circle Theatre, the only other survivor in
Annapolis is the Capitol Theatre on Main Street.
The Capitol Theatre opened in the 1940's, and
closed around
the 1960's. The building is now used as offices
and it appears to be in great condition.
Other theatres from Annapolis past include the
Republic/Playhouse, Star, Colonial, Opera House,
Lyric, Burtis and Magnet ( the last five from
very early years )
