The Gwynn Theatre is another old Baltimore Movie house that has recently come down . The theatre opened in 1933, but closed down by the early 1950's. The building has been used for a variety of uses, as seen in the photos above, such as a Rite Aid Store. Later it was a shoe store, but that has since closed as well. The building was vacant, and the Howard Park Food Store next store was also torn down for a new food store. Ambassador Theatre. across the street still survives.
