The town of
Hurlock listed three theatres in the past, the
Fireman's Hall, at 284 Main Street ( at the corner of
Maryland ) , which can be seen in a 1923 Insurance
Map. The theatre is also listed in a FDA of 1931,
listing 490 seats. Later,it was the Hurlock Theatre,
which was listed from alteast 1938 to 1952, seating
between 430 and 460.In the 1930's, the New theatre was
found listed, not sure if that also the Hurlock
Theatre, under another name. Kilduffs checked the
location and nothing is standing today, the site is
just an empty lot.
