The Star Theatre was one of several "Black" Theatres in the City of Annapolis.  The picture below is all I have found ( so far ) of images of the theatre, which was located at the intersection of Calvert and Northwest, A drive by the intersection , where Maryland State Government buildings are now, shows the site to be a small parking lot, if I got my directions straight.

...........I didn't have a lot to work with, but from what I can gather, the above intersection is where the Star Theatre had been, on the far left corner of the intersection. The picture below shows the actual spot, now a parking lot.

A block over on Clay Street, I actually found two early "black"  theatres. One was on Washington Street near the intersection of Clay Street. It was a very early theatre, listed along with the Electric Theatre.

...........................The tiny early theatre would have been on your left hand side, near the fence, in a building long since torn down. The view is north on Washington Street just prior to Clay Street.

Clay Street, Annapolis Maryland 2016. After a little more research, I think the theatre that was located on Clay Street might have actually been located one block to the East of me, or behind me. If that is the case, the site is now a parking garage. Ihave located the name of the Booker T Theatre, but I'm not sure which if these theatres used that name. I do know that the theatre that was on Clay Street was in a hall, and that it was used for movies for years. I'll post more information soon.
