The Walbrook Theatre operated from the 1910's well into the 1960's. Since it has closed,it has been used as a church. Across the street from the Walbrook, were the Hilton and Windsor Theatres, and all three of the buildings have long since been converted to other uses.The Golenberg's Bargain Outlet in this 1980's shot was once the Walbrook Bowling Alley.

Walbrook Junction in the 1960's. The Walbrook can be seen in the background. West North Avenue ends just a block from this area, and it's the only commerical strip on West North Avenue for blocks.

Above, an ad circa 1936,  for " The Great Ziegfeld " in a local paper. The newspaper was full of ads for various theatres with the same movie showing. Below, two programs we have managed to locate, believed to be from the 1930's. It's a Wonderful Life came outr in the late 1930's amd Dancing Lady was from the mid 1930's.
